I felt that way

There should be always a senior Doctor available to check the patient in case of emergency because my drain came out and I had to wait for a senior Doctor to come until next day at 10 in the morning

Some of the nurses were really kind and helpful but there were two nurses that were really rude and blunt. I felt worried through the night as I didn’t want to press the help button as I felt like I was asking for too much from them. One of the nurses was trying to help me on the commode and asked another member of staff to assist, the other nurse stated she was busy doing tea orders and shut the door in her face so my husband had to assist but was worried he was going to hurt me. Another nurse was really argumentative towards the Dr advising what care I needed to go home with, it’s was really unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable that she wasn’t going to listen to the Dr as soon as they left.

To show more kindness towards patients and act like you actually want to care for your patients as it is your job at the end of the day. It was so awful having to go through my procedure but the worst part was the way I was treated by a couple of members of staff, it just made the experience a whole lot worse. I cant say this about the whole ward as some of the nurses were really lovely.

I had major heart attack in hospital and no nurses cared and I got assisted 13 hours later.

Heart attack patient should be seen asap.

I came to see a gastroenterologist Dr Zafar Khawaja on 29/3 he arrived a hour after appointment time He told me that he would refer me to have a ct colonography I then received by post a follow up appointment for the 12th August 2024 But no appointment had been made for the ct colonography I did check with radiology I then tried numerous times to find some one to help I then rang his secretary who told me she would email him I am still waiting for an appointment for this procedure

If you are told you are going to have a investigation follow through with an appointment date for the patient There is no point in receiving a follow up letter to go back and see the gastroenterologist if you haven’t had the ct colonography Or received a date for it
